And, we’ll make sure any questions you may have are answered to your satisfaction. • You’ll learn how to develop a far healthier lifestyle and we’ll help you change many of the risk factors that caused your cardiac condition in the first place.
• Bob will guide you through a safe, monitored exercise program. Monitoring includes EKG telemetry, blood pressure, heart rate and symptoms. • You’ll receive eight, one-hour education sessions where you’ll learn more about heart disease, your risk factors and how to modify your lifestyle for a safer, healthier future. • You’ll receive dietary counseling from a Registered Dietitian, including menu planning and recipes, that will help you achieve better weight control and lower blood cholesterol levels. • After completing the HPC basic program, you’ll be given guidelines for returning to your own gym or health club, or you can continue in the HPC’s extended care program.
